On June 2, 2022, a popular local artist appeared before the Magistrate’s Court in Roseau on six-sexual related charges against a minor. The accused was not required to enter a plea since the offence was indictable.
Moreover, attorneys for the accused, Wayne Norde and Gina Abraham, sought bail which was granted in the sum of $25,000.
The matter has been adjourned to September 29, 2022. The name of the accused remains undisclosed as he has not been convicted of the offence alleged.
