At an electoral reform rally on Saturday evening, treasurer of the Concerned Citizens Movement, John Blanchard issued a call to Labourites far and wide to do the right thing; to put country before party and support electoral reform.
He said, “Ensure that your children inherit the same democratic systems that our forefathers fought and died for. Send a clear message to the prime minister and the Labour party that they must respect the law of the land; that they must use the state’s resources prudently and account to you”.
