
The Paix-Bouche Basketball League concluded in thrilling fashion on the night of Sunday, May 25th, with the Hawks emerging as champions.
Organizers described the league as an exciting event filled with potential, despite facing challenges such as frequent rain on Sundays during the playoffs. They expressed gratitude to the loyal fans who consistently showed up in support, regardless of the weather.
Joseph, one of the league’s organizers, extended thanks to the sponsors and the community for their unwavering support throughout the tournament.
Hawks’ captain, Kaloy Paul, was elated after clinching the championship. At a loss for words, he attributed his team’s success to their youthfulness and agility.
The MVP of the tournament is Caelan Paul.
Meanwhile, David Alexis, captain of the runner-up team Cobra, cited a poor start as the reason for their loss, pointing to numerous turnovers and missed shots as key setbacks.
In a show of community spirit, Davis George also made presentations to the Paix-Bouche Eagles team, demonstrating ongoing support for basketball in the area.
