“I am excited, overwhelmed and ready to start the journey with UFA (United Farmers Association of Alberta; [an agricultural company]). Winning the competition gives me the opportunity to start my company(DomCan Biodegradables) and create the product from the competition”, she says.

Kadeema thanks Brent Symes in Dominica and her mentor, Rita Egizibi in Canada who assisted her in developing her pitch for the competition.

Kadeema hopes to return to Dominica to begin using her new found knowledge to invest in the agricultural industry.
