The Celebration of the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ,  King of the Universe will be held on Sunday 21, November. This is the first time the celebration will be held on a Diocesan level since 2013.

This year’s celebration is expected to be a grand occasion beginning with a praise motorcade with various churches joining with each other en route to culminate on the Dame Eugenia Charles Boulevard. From there, the motorcade will move up to the Windsor Park Stadium accompanied by traditional drummers.

Bishop Gabriel Malzaire says that the entire liturgical year which begins with Advent and ends at Christ the King is focused on Christ. Two purposes of the celebration are to renew commitment to Christ and to promote greater solidarity among the parishes.
