EmoNews Launch

EmoNews achieves a milestone with the official launch of its digital platform. After being thrust into the news business when it served as an ad-hoc but reliable communication outlet following hurricane Maria in September 2017, Dominica’s newest media corporation signaled that it was open for business. During an official event on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, the public was informed that EmoNews is offering a total infotainment package under the business banner: EmoNews: Ever Changing Digital Experience with the introduction of its website.

The website’s launch took place at the Flaming Grill Restaurant in Picard, Dominica, and was attended by officials from the National Development Foundation of Dominica (NDFD), FLOW Dominica, L.A. Dupigny, Burtons and Company, and other partners, media colleagues and well-wishers. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of EmoNews, Emerline Anselm, says that she is elated to be part of such a fun experience: “it has always been my dream to be able to communicate with people on a formal level and today is a new start for me and an additional opportunity for consumers of news, not just in Dominica and the region but globally, to experience news,” she expressed.

Ms. Anselm ‘Emo’ – after whom the business is named, credits the almighty for her vision, and all those who have viewed, liked, shared, tagged, commented, recommended, patronized and endorsed EmoNews for her business success up to this point. They are considered a part of the EmoNews community. A visibly emotional Emerline said: “I would be nothing without you, the followers and fans of EmoNews.”
