Donation To Spice Of Life Aging Group

The Savanne Paille/ TanTan Spice of Life Aging Group are the recipients of an incredible display of products from the family of Helena Ettiene and a Bible Study Prayer group in the United States.

CEO of Spice of Life, Mrs. Caryl Baron explained that her family has been involved in caring for the elderly of the communities and sought to do so formally, hence the formation of the group. She explained the reason behind the name of the group. She said that spice has an aroma that lights up one’s spirit and overpowers a room.

Baron thanked her supporters including family members, her other directors, the family of Helena James and the generous contributors in the United State, local businesses and Stephanie James and ‘The Caribbean Cowboy’, Julian Riviere of the Stephanie James Foundation for their unwavering support.

Jennifer Julien Laudat spoke on behalf of her sister Sonia Julien who served as the contact between the Bible Study group and Spice of Life. She said that the group is delighted to partner and give back to those who have blazed the trail and in need of help.

“The group saw it fitting”, she said, “to make a presentation to some of our forgotten elders. To the group we say God bless you and we are continuing to pray for you. We also wish the elders comfort and peace especially in these unprecedented times”.

The ceremony was held in the name of Honored Guest and mother Helena Ettiene who the women said taught them to give.
