The Dominica National 4-H Club, in partnership with Fresh Market, Convent High School 4H Club and Convent Prep School 4H Club celebrated Fruit Day with the children on the Winston Ward at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital. Members distributed nutritious and delicious fruit bowls, fruit drinks and story books to children and staff of the Winston ward.
This initiative reflects the Dominica National 4-H Club’s commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and community well-being. The club, under the leadership of the National 4-H Club Director, recognizes the importance of access to nutritious food, especially within a healthcare setting.
The collaboration with Fresh Market has enabled the 4-H members to provide a variety of fresh fruits, encouraging healthy eating habits. The Fruit Day celebration aims to bring a refreshing and positive experience to the hospital community.
” We truly appreciate how assiduously our corporate partner fresh Market has worked and assisted in this regard” said Bert Paul, National 4-H Club Director.
The Dominica National 4-H Club and Fresh Market hope this Fruit Day celebration will contribute to the well-being of the children and staff at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital. The club looks forward to continuing its work in empowering young people and making a positive impact on the community.
