‘DoSomethingCrazy’ will be representing Dominica this Labour Day in New York City. The band’s theme was chosen to express Dominica’s resiliency through culture, in the face of many challenges and natural disasters.

The band has two major sections: part 1 consists of traditional wear and costume variations of the traditional wear, while Part 2 is the reveler’s section, consisting of revelry costumes and t-shirt themes, all geared around resiliency. A major part of that section will be something that has never hit the parkway before and that is a ‘WET FETE’.

The reason for the ‘Wet Fete’ is to celebrate Dominica’s most treasured resource – water. As the Nature Isle of the Caribbean, Dominica is referred to as the land of rivers. The band will feature ‘The king of Bouyon’: ASA BANTAN leading the wet fete experience with water cannon trucks. The ever promises to be spectacular and memorable.
