On Sunday 17, May, the Honourable Prime Minister of Dominica, Dr.Roosevelt Skerrit announced that the country has no active COVID-19 cases.

As of Sunday, all 16 cases of COVID-19 in Dominica have recovered.

Further, the Prime Minister announced that salons and barbershops will reopen as of Monday 18. However, they are to operate by appointments only.The Government has invested over 22 million dollars in the fight against COVID-19.

The Prime Minister reminded the general public to continue practicing social distancing, and proper health measures including wearing masks.
