The Dominica Council on Aging joins with the rest of the world to celebrate Month od the Elderly with a month of activities beginning September 1st and ending on October 1st.
Among activities is Grandparents Day to be held on September 8th, DCOA National Senior Games to be held at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium on September 22nd, and Love Our Seniors Youth Workshop to be held at the UWI Campus on September 24th.
President of Dominica, His Excellency Charles Savarin addressed the nation this morning to commence the month of activities. A celebratory mass complete with an after-service lunch was held at the Paix Bouche Roman Catholic Church yesterday to celebrate the seniors.
