We announce the death of Francis Trevor Philbert originally of La Plaine, Dominica transitioned from this world to his heavenly abode on April 30th, 2025. He was 63 years old. He was co-pastor of Garden of Grace Ministries in Florida as well as an evangelist to the nation of Haiti.
He was preceded in death by his parents former Commissioner of Police, Damase Philbert and retired teacher, Elizabeth Philbert, his brothers Algernon, Malcolm and Winston Philbert, sisters Seltonia and Josephine Philbert as well as Anestine Riviere.
He leaves to mourn his childhood sweetheart and wife of 39 years, Apostle Norma Fontaine Philbert, sons Andrew and Jonathan Philbert and grandson, Zyan.
Siblings Patricia, Albert (Mara), Denis (Monica), Glenda (Phillip), Vincent (Marieleen) and Dorian (Gayle) Philbert.

Extended family including the Bruney, Lestrade, Hurtault, Colaire, St. Jean, Francis, Hypolite, Fevrier and Fontaine families of Dominica as well as the Green family of Miami.
Visitation will be from 6-8PM on Friday, May 23rd, 2025 in Brandon, FL. Celebration of Life and Service of Thanksgiving will be on Saturday May 24th, and Sunday, May 25th 2025 respectively in Clearwater, FL. Burial will be private.
