Update: Death Announcement of Esther K. Durand better known as Kirty

YOUR WINGS WERE READY BUT OUR HEARTS WERE NOT❤️

It is with the saddest regret that we announce the death of our beloved ESTHER K. DURAND better known as Kirty. She passed away peacefully on May 1st, 2022 at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.

She is survived by

Mom: Deborah Durand

Grandmother: Rabestina Boyd

Significant other: Augustine Bannis

God-daughter: Curnisha Mingo

Sisters: Irsana, Sacher, Shashona, Sandra and Gillian

Brothers: Ashdel and Gerald

Nieces: Asher, Skyler, Dargill, Te’Mia and Tia

Nephews: Zack, Malachi, Michael, Mitch, Sherlion, Deshaad, Cameron, Ettiene and Gerald jr

Brothers in law: Isaiah and Reginald

Godmother/Godfather: Diane and Aaron Laurent

Caretaker: Hazel Edward

Close family and friends to include Uncle Jonathan, Abner, Vincent, Throbell, and Raveleous. Aunty Felixia, Winnie, Christaline, Babe, Sophie and Tibe.

Donaldson Nicholas, Sean Astaphans, Lionel Michael, Desmond Augustine, Jermain Darroux, Narlie, Liselle, members of the Church of God Seventh Day, the Petite Soufriere and Laudat communities and others both here and abroad too numerous to mention.

Special thanks to Honorable Dr Irvin McIntyre, Albert Noel and the rest of the Noel family, doctors and nurses of the Dawbiney ward.

She was an employee at VI Life and Style magazine, BVI news and BVI Platinum News. She was a former employee of DNO. Also a member of the Lions Club of the BVI

Funeral service will be held on Friday 13th May at Truth & Grace Fellowship Global, Roseau, Dominica.

Viewing begins at 1.30pm followed by service at 2pm. Interment is at the Roseau Public Cemetery.

All guests are encouraged to practice current Covid protocols at the viewing, church and cemetery.
