It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of 96-year-old, Evelyn Teresa Nicholas Wade of Cochrane. She died on June 23rd, 2024, at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital.
She is survived by 6 children: Magdalene Defoe (USA), Adams and Roy Joseph and Charlie Vigilant (Dominica), and Catherine Xavier, and Nelista Archibald (Antigua).
19 grand-children: Noreen Seraphine, Sarah Charles, Heather Defoe (USA), Ernest Defoe (Canada), Adler and Adrian Joseph (St Kitts), Andell, Elroy and Cameron Joseph, Shannisa Esprit, Charissa and Chardia Vigilant, and Chad Wright (Dominica), Whitney and Marc Xavier, Brandon, Joanna, Jesse and Nathan Archibald (Antigua).
12 great grand-children: Dian (Stacia) Louis, Nicky Bertrand, Shane Etienne, Lisa Carbon, Nafia Charles, Nia John, Tanisha Fonrose, Haley Friday (USA), Alicia and Adeola Joseph (St Kitts), Narissa and Zael Esprit (Dominica).
8 great-great grand-children: Felicia Bharath-Strauss, Harper Louis, Jade Duncanson, Becky Santiag, Shakim Morrison Jr., Jayceon Carbon, Adizah Shillingford, Tahj Phillips (USA).

The body of the late Evelyn Teresa Nicholas Wade will be transported for viewing at 2:30 pm on Friday, July 12th, 2024 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Pottersville. The funeral mass at 3:00 pm followed by interment at the Roseau Catholic Cemetery.
