It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved father Mr. Stephen Massicott aged eighty-nine of Calibishie better known as ‘Gabriel’ or ‘Gayboo’.
He was the father of six children: Alexander Massicott and Claudia Charles (USA), Martha Joseph, Casimir and Joseph Massicott and Ursula Massicott-Severin in Dominica. Step-daughter Justinia Cuffy-Joseph (USA). Adopted son Charles Bannis.
Grandsons: Joachim Joseph, Ronal and Jordan Charles (USA), Michael, Alex, Aydenn, (USA), Raphael, Casimir Jr., Bernard, Delaney and Joseph Jr. Massicott, Karhmalee, Jhe-Vaughn, Karhmeron and Kahil Severin.
Granddaughters: Nurse Marese Joseph- Alexis, Rian and Remitha Joseph, Kemba and Sasha (USA), – Joseanna, Euline and Anestine Massicott.
Great-grand Children: Kimandra, Johnathan and Joshua Joseph, Raechel, Moriah, Jael and Zechariah Alexis.
Son-in-law: Remy Joseph of the Dominica Coast Guard
Daughter-in-law: Hermina Bernard-Massicott Clerk of the Calibishie Village Council
Grandson-in-law: Ronald Alexis
Granddaughter – in-law – Lena Joseph
Brother: Leslie Joseph (USA)
Sisters: Eugenia King, and Jetween Forde (Trinidad)
Brothers-in-law: Rupert Joseph (USA) and Anthony Forde (Trinidad)
Numerous Nephews and nieces including Valda Casey, Brenda, Lydia Paul, Pierson Abraham, Earl Prince, Doria Abraham (USA) and Martina Prince (Canada)
Godchildren including Junie Gordon (USA) and Jerome Toussaint.
Close family and friends, Katie George and family, Junie Daniel and family, The Joseph family (USA), The Bannis Family of Castle Bruce, The Massicott families of Paix Bouche/Bel Maniere, Veille Casse and Penville and relatives in Bense, Anse-Du-Mai and Anse-Sol-Dat, Dr. Andrina Moses, and Mr. Sanderson Prince and family in Wesley.

The body can be viewed from 2:30 p.m.
The funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday 6th September at 3:00 p.m. at the Wesley Roman Catholic Church followed by internment at the Wesley Catholic Cemetery.
