It is profound sadness that we announce of 83 year old Steven Laplume better known as Vin of Anse Sol Dat who resided in Coulibistrie.
He died on Friday 29th December, 2023 at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.
He leaves to mourn:
Wife: Agatha Bruno Laplume
Two Daughters: Aggie and Suzanne in England
One Son: Ettienne Laplume
3 Grand Children including Sonia and Leo in England
5 Great-grand children including Romell, Tyler and Rose in England
Adopted-Daughters: Danisha, Shanel, Sarah and Lena in England
Adopted Sons: Linton, Alton, Michael and Felix in England
Son-in-Law: Leonard
Sister-in-Law: Mary

Close family and friends including the Isaac, Fabien, Francois, Berkitte, Carriere and Charles families, the community of Bense, Anse De Mai and Anse Sol Da, Nurse Larocque and family, Nurse Joana and family, Doctor Jeffrey and family, Mrs. Bruney and family. Mrs. Kezia and family, Bradley and family, Jackson, Devin, Alson, Baba, Agatha, Althia, Darran, Veralyn, John and family, Ross Charles and family, Francisca Charles and family, Michael Rodney and family, Euella and family, St, Vincent De Paul members of the Coulibistrie Roman Catholic Church and the entire community of Lagonbay, Morne Rachette and Coulibistrie.
The funeral will take place on Friday January 19th 2024 at 2:00pm. Viewing takes place at 1:30pm. The service is followed by interment at the La Croix Public Cemetery in Anse De Mai.
