We announce the death of Anna John, age 80 of La Plaine, Dominica. She died on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the Glover Ward of the Dominica China Friendship hospital.
She left to mourn
Her children: Jefferson Prosper, Austin Attidore, Linda Prosper, and Marilyn Dublin in Dominica, Jacqueline Attidore in Guadeloupe and Jennifer Kate Xavier in Florida.
Brother: Xavier John, better known as Mumu in La Plaine.
Sisters: Edith John in Ohio and Cecelia John in Antigua
Grand children: Noah, Chantelle, Lyanna, Johnphine, Kelvin, Layla, Kellyanne, KaJuana, Kernifer, Samantha, Joel, Leticia and Randy.
Six (6) Great grandchildren
Nieces and nephews: Cinthia, Brian, Janice, Ella, Anderson, Steve, Ashmar, Mervin, Jacqueline, Tessa, Roosevelt, Mona, Rowena
Daughter in laws: Celia Prosper and Donna Attidore
Cousins: Lycian, Mingo, Molly, Biggs, Ed and Family
Close friends: Kent, Popo, Ma Son, Clemencia, Helen, Cinthia, Avanelle, Fiona and the community of LaPlaine. Neighbors and friends, too numerous to mention.
The body of the late Anna John can be viewed on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the La Plaine Catholic Church. Funeral Mass at 3 PM followed by interment at the La Plaine Catholic Cemetery.
