We are sad to announce the death of 77-year old Gertrude Dumas, also known as Ma Aboy or Dada, of La Plaine, who resided in the United States.
She died on Monday, February 6th,2023.
She has left to mourn:
Her husband: Cletus Dumas, also known as Aboy
4 daughters: Bertillia, Leandra, Lydia and Tristelle
Her honorary daughters: Urania Williams and Cassandra Pascal
3 grandchildren: Lester, Jeanelle and Jaylan
Her sons-in-law: Roy James and Kenrick Ducreay
2 sisters: Elaine Wilkinson residing in the USA, and Marie Severin in the UK.
1 brother: Simon Thomas residing in St Thomas
Numerous nieces and nephews including Keith Severin, Paula Peters, Dick Shillingford, Bill Thomas, Kervel JnoBaptiste and Kay-Ann Roache.
Sisters-in-law: Elaine Thomas, Whilelmina Emanuel, Ullie/Sally/Bernardine/Audrey/Cascillia and Jenny Dumas
Brothers-in-law: Peterson Barry, Ozie/Raymond/Joe, and Elias Dumas, and Lawrence Prosper better known as Sim
Aunt: Adrianna Attidore

The funeral service and internment of our beloved Gertrude Dumas will be held at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel and Gardens in Buford, Georgia. Viewing will be at 10am, and service will follow at 11am.
