It is with profound sadness, we announce the death of 70 years old Mary Mark-Madir, most affectionately known as “Elmity or El” of Mahaut who resided in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. She died on 10th April, 2024, at her residence in St. Thomas U.S.V.I.
She will be remembered by her:

Three Nephews: Jeanmark Julien in the USA, Neil and Jean-yves Julien in Dominica
Sister-in-law: Alma Hypolite-Mark
Niece-in-law: Lincia Joseph-Julien in the USA
Numerous cousins including: Danley in St. Thomas, Shirlyn, Bert, Christine and Curtis in the USA, Wilfred and Patt in the UK, Julius in Antigua, Catherine in France, Henrietta, Augustina, Lance, Augustus, Lincoln, Myles, Mandy, June and Keizan, in Dominica, other relatives’ names are too numerous to mention.
Close Friends: Janice Morancie, the Hypolite Family in Trafalgar, Augustus Parker and Family, Ms. Chris, Claudia, Reubina, Frankie, Chris, Eloe, Pastors/Elders and the Congregation of the Philadelphia Seventh-Day Adventist Church in St. Thomas, Dominicans residing in St. Thomas and the Community of Mahaut; other friends names are too numerous to mention.
The funeral service of the late Mary Mark-Madir was held on Monday, 13th May, 2024 at the Philadelphia Seventh-day Adventist Church in St. Thomas.
