We announce the death of Brentol Valery Cornelius, better known as Brent, age 62, of Houston, Texas, who passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at West Houston Hospital.
He was the son of the late Ferris Wedley Cornelius and Adeline Jno Finn Cornelius, of Castle Bruce.
He was preceded in death by his sisters Ignatia Durand, Ophelia Bannis and Verge Cornelius.
Brent is survived by two sisters Marvlyn Cornelius in Houston and Whilma Levie Jno Baptiste, in Bradenton, Florida.
Three brothers, Martin, Urne and Stephan Cornelius in Houston and Herbie Cornelius in Boston, Massachusetts.
Brother-in-Law, Clayton Jno Baptiste in Florida. Sisters-in-Law Noelise “Maggie” Cornelius in Houston and Danna Cornelius in Boston.
Nephews, Frank Drigo in Houston, Michael and Keith Drigo in St. Thomas, USVI; Jason Christopher, Nelson, David and Samuel Durand in Dominica; and Arlene Durand in Anguilla; Clint and Paul Jno Baptiste in Boston; Kurt and Curtis Cornelius in Castle Bruce; Kiron Cornelius in St. Johns, Jonathan and Tresson Cornelius in Houston and Joshua Cornelius in Boston.
Nieces – Annie and Chandy Durand in Dominica, Natasha Jno Baptiste in Florida, Ellen and Fern Prevost, Marah Cornelius, Marva Florent and Kareema Cornelius in Houston; Julia and Judith Cornelius in Boston.
Grand nieces and nephews – Marlita, Kiah and T’kia Drigo, Shernelle Carter, Nicole and Charles Bell and Kaiden Florent.

The Memorial Service for Brentol Valery Cornelius, will take place on Friday, April 5, 7 O’clock P.M., at Unveiled Women Ministry, 9750 Highway 6 South, Sugarland, Texas 77498.
