Community Survey To Pave Way For Exit Strategy Of State Of Emergency

National epidemiologist, Dr. Shaluddin Ahmed revealed that all necessary preparations are in place to begin community survey on May 5 which will last for 1 month.

The community survey seeks to detect asymptomatic carriers as well as to determine the extent of the infection in the general population.

Households will be randomly selected from all the 7 health districts, beginning with the high risk districts of Laplaine and Marigot.

According to Ahmed, the survey will pave the way for the exit strategy for the State of Emergency.
