CIBC FirstCaribbean joined the world in celebrating International Men’s Day on November 19th 2019. This year’s theme focused on ‘Making a Difference for Men and Boys.’
Male employees of the bank were presented with gift baskets as a show of appreciation by banking officer, Mrs. Rhona Lawrence who thanked them for the work they do and the good examples they set.
“In today’s current environment, where men aren’t always portrayed positively, the example you show through your work ethics and daily lives must be saluted, so thank you and continue being the great role models you are,” Ms. Lawrence said.
The bank also hosted student Sachin Thomas of the St. Mary’s Academy who had the opportunity to observe first-hand in how bank activities operate alongside Country Head, Stephen Lander throughout the day. He was excited and appreciative of the learning opportunity presented by the bank.
