The Dominica Cadet Corp intends on raising a new flag after eighteen (18) years. The new flag is being modified from that of the old Defense Force Logo. Commander Joseph Raymond revealed that the logo is similar with the exception of the traditional aspect of Koudmain (Community Service). The new logo will show the tools which represent Koudmain in the form of an axe and shovel for community work. The National Bird will also signify flying to higher heights.

Commander Raymond further revealed that upgrades have been made to the uniforms which further show that the Dominican Culture is an integral part of the Cadet Corp.
