Minister for Agriculture Honourable Reginald Austrie provided that recent talks on agriculture with Secretary General of IICA, brought forth a suggestion to construct a global centre for agricultural resilience in the region. He stated that the project was approved on the CARICOM level with a variety of organizations on board.

Mr. Austrie stated that the produce of goods between January and December 2018 amassed over $103 million dollars.
