Speaking to DFA Media ahead of the team’s first training session, captain Glenson Prince says that “the training went very well” and they did many things as planned in preparation for the games.

“Also, and very important, the guys are in high spirits and I am very satisfied with the first training that we had and the team is pretty sharp,” Prince stated.

Questioned about the mental preparation he had this to say. “I can tell you that as a team we are mentally prepared for the game and we have seen Bermuda play and have studied videos of their games so we know what they bring. Yes, they are home and that can be a bit of a challenge given the crowd support but we are not daunted about that because mentally we are ready and just have to stick to the game plans and execute on the day of the games,” he said.

“The team is together as a unit; we fight for each other and always look out for each other as brothers and we are aware that it will take a group and collective effort to beat Bermuda but we are ready and very prepared for the task ahead.”
