BPW Wants More Done To Tackle Gender Based Violence

President of the Business and Professional Women (BPW) Dominica chapter, Rhoda St.John says that not enough is being done to tackle Gender-Based Violence on the island. She says it does not matter whether it is verbal, emotional or physical abuse against either male or female, all forms of violence should be condemned in our society.

St. John made these comments on a radio program which was held as part of the BPW’s ongoing 16 Days of Activism which began in November and continues until December 10.

She said many of the activities had to be shelved because of the ongoing political climate in Dominica but make no mistake, next year’s activities will be great.
