It was almost as if all Dominica came out in support of the Dominica Cancer Society on its annual walk for cancer.
Patrons walked either from Massacre to Bayfront or Pointe Mitchel to Bayfront. There were people from all walks of life. From political candidates, nurses, bankers to the former chief of police.
An impressive number of men and youths and children were also walking. At the Bayfront, participants had fun aerobics and heard from members of the Cancer Society.
An organization from New York and other local businesses gave contributions to the Cancer Society to encourage them to continue to do the work that they are involved in.
