It’s with deep sadness that the family of Mrs. Maria Jules, nee Defoe, better known as Teacher Maria, announced her passing. She transitioned into eternal peace on May 25, 2024, at the age of 89 in Grand Bay, Dominica.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald W. Jules, her parents, Elmira Defoe, nee Denis and Pemberton Defoe.
She is survived by her:

The Funeral Services will be held on Friday June 14, 2024, at Grand Bay Catholic Church Sacred Space in Grand Bay. Viewing will begin at 2:30 p.m. and the Service will begin at 3:00 pm. Interment will be at the Grand Bay Cemetery.
