On Monday, 27th May, 2024, the XS Groove Band held its first and successful musical workshop with the staff and students of the Dublanc/ Bioche Primary School.
The initiative sparked from the desire to impact positive change through music and teamwork and to inspire and motivate the future generation.
The effort was lead by the band manager, Kevin Etienne along with the band members including keyboardist Norman ( Brock Shot) Dorival, Bassist Jervon (Natty Bill) Henderson, Guitarist Ethan Charles, and Drummer/ Producer Mateo Francis.
The workshop was well received by both students and staff with the students engaged and participating with the nuances of the different musical instruments.
The XS Groove Band looks forward to continuing the musical workshops with primary schools throughout the island and thanks the Principal, Mrs. Joseph, the staff and students of the Dublanc/ Bioche Primary school for the great session held.
