Formal charges have been preferred against one adult male, Christian Yanick Blanc of Tete Morne, Grandbay for the murder of Jason Sorhaindo of MonTin Grandbay.
The accused was brought before Chief Magistrate Candia Carrette George where the charge of murder was read to him. As the offence of Murder is an indictable crime he was not allowed to enter a plea.
The accused has since been remanded to custody, the Preliminary Inquiry was set to November 20th, 2023 at Grandbay.
