It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of 85 year old Mrs. Eslie Agnes Esprit of Mahaut. She was popularly known as Ezzo. She died peacefully at her home on Saturday, 13th May 2023 surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
She leaves to mourn:
Her husband, David Esprit whom she called “Fred”, better known in the community as “Met”;
Eight (8) children: Corina Laville, Annette, Juliet, Maureen, Daphne, Valerie and Campbell Esprit, and Adora Waldron.
13 grandchildren: Cassanni, Carn and Chendi Laville, Giselle, Kedian, Devon, Alina and
Tariq Esprit; Lesley-Ann Waldron-Martin, Shyann Hill, Tyler Laudat, Grace Eslie Esprit-Munroe and Amber-Lee Bruno.
Seven (7) Great-Grandchildren: Cayleigh, Sanni and Anjolie Laville, Rouhani Martin, Kiara and Kirani Esprit and Theo Peter.
Step-Daughters: Advina & Idaline Esprit.
Step-Sons: Sobers & Calvin Esprit.
Step-Grandchildren: Karen Henry, Denise Forde, Channelle and Leah Reynold.
Nieces & Nephews: Clonie, Vandalyn, Alandale, Nidy, Beverley, Evelyn, Registe, Hezron and Howard Ambrose and Juliette Merrifield.
Many Grand Nieces and Nephews including Nola & Craig Stedman, Midge Hill Royer, Sherma John and Khanika Ambrose.
Sons-in-Law: Desmond Aaron and Starford Waldron
Grand-Son-in Law: Anthony Martin.
Grand-Daughter-in-Law: Nicole Laville.
Other special relatives to include Bernard Bruno, Cleveland Munroe, Malcolm Robinson, Kadie Karam, Alicia Niyazi, Andrina Mitchel, Frances Letang.and Sheryl Ambrose, Verna and Carl DeBelote
Special friends: Jean Blanc, Delia Bardouille, Athenia Charles, Evadney Prevost, Frances Robin, Toofee, Angela Morvan, Guiste Sohraindo, Shirley Louis, Jennifer Williams, Jennifer Andrew, Lusha, Percillia Alexander, Arian, Camesha, Andrina Serrant and Caren Mellow
She was well loved by many, especially the market vendors in Mahaut and the Morne Georgin community. Special mention must be made of Cisco, Eudillia, and Shirley.
She also leaves to mourn other members of the Esprit and Ambrose family whose names are too numerous to mention.
The body of the late Eslie Esprit will be transported from Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing at 1:30 pm on Friday 30th June at the St. Martin De Porres Church, Canefield. The funeral mass begins at 2:00pm followed by interment at the Mahaut Catholic Cemetery.
