It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Donatienne George née George also known as Aunty ‘Doan’ and Ma George, aged ninety two, of Vieille Case, who resided at Bath Estate. She was a former caretaker at the St. Mary’s Primary. She died on Friday 18th June, 2021 at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital. She was a member of Legion of Mary, Mount Carmel Society, Sacred Heart Society, Holy Redeemer Fountain of Life Prayer Group, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Prayer Ministry.
She is survived by:
Eight children: Josephine Norman, Joycelyn Daniel and Geraud Williams residing in New York, Heather John. Baptiste, Christine Kelshall, Janice Doway, Catherine Samuel-Harris, Lennox Daniel.
Adopted daughter: Alice George

The body can be viewed at the Lady of Fair Heaven Cathedral, St. Gerard’s Chapel on Monday July 12th, 2021 at 2:30 pm, service follows at 3:00pm and interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
