Weak instability is expected to produce an increase in cloudiness, scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms across parts of the Lesser Antilles, including Dominica, during the next 24 hours.
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Paulette, located over the central tropical Atlantic, and on Tropical Storm Rene, located over the central Cabo Verde Islands near the coast of Africa.
Based on current projected paths, these systems are not expected to pose a direct threat to Dominica. However, residents should continue to monitor their progress.
Slight to moderate seas are expected during the next 24 to 48 hours with waves peaking near 5.0ft under a light wind regime.
