Vernella Henderson, a teacher at the Christian Union Primary School is the winner of the DBS Christmas Song Contest 2019.

Henderson who wrote a song entitled, My Christmas Angel, said that she got engaged this year and wanted to put in writing how she felt.

According to her, the competition was a close one and what gave her the edge over the other competitors was probably because the song meant alot to her.

First runner up went to Nathaniel Durand while Listan Edwards was the second runner up.
