Dominica Administers HPV Vaccine To Protect Against Cervical Cancer

The Ministry of Health has begun administering the HPV vaccine to students at the primary school level.

This forms part of the usual vaccination time that all Dominicans go through at Grade 5 or 6. The HPV vaccine is already been administered in other Caribbean islands and is proven to reduce the risk of contracting cervical cancer.
