The incitement case against former Agricultural Minister and avid conservationist, Atherton Martin, has been thrown out on the grounds of lack of evidence.
Martin was arrested in December 2018, for inciting to block the road during a protest organized by the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM).
Magistrate, Michael Bruney said that the prosecution failed to submit evidence but would be able to reopen the case once they have accrued the necessary evidence. Martin was represented by Attorney Cara Shillingford as lead counsel.
