Universal Martial Arts hosted its first official international grading which was a historical moment for Dominica and UMAI. 18 Students moved through the ranks of the Robin Ryu system. Shihan Shannah Robin in his speech stated that he is pleased to be the founder and CEO of such a beautiful and dynamic system that started right here in Dominica.

He went on to say that his main aim is to put Dominica on the map in sports tourism. Mr. Robin thanked the MAI students and parents in Dominica for believing in this wonderful opportunity and vision where young stars can travel the world competing and bring people to the nature island of the Caribbean.

He pledged to be an ambassador for his country and be the best role model to them all. To date, the system is recognized in China, the USA, the Caribbean, and Canada
