Two queen contestants for Miss Dominica 2019 Pageant show were launched in their respective villages.
Marisol John who will be representing Sultan was launched on Saturday 29th December.
She was introduced by the Parliamentary Representative, Hon. Collin Mcintyre, Derek St.Rose, her mom and brother. Dr.Damien Dublin & members of the Copthall Improvement Committee also addressed the launch. Mrs.Ophelia Maria was the master of ceremony.
According to Marisol, “I am asking you to rally with me to truly let our voices be heard, the voices that will shape tomorrow and the voices that won’t go in vain but bring about action.”
Aaliyah Martin who will be representing Campbell was launched on Sunday, December 30th. The Parliamentary Representative, Hon Rayburn Blackmore also addressed the launch. There were performances by the Siboli/Massacre Cultural group, Mahaut Lapo Kabwit, Delly, Tasha P, DJ Rio, BRN and others.
The Miss Dominica Pageant is carded for March 1st, 2019.
