852 students from primary schools across the island will sit the annual Grade Six National Assessment Test today, July 7.
Education minister, Hon.Octavia says that all preparations have been made to ensure safety of students and staff during the examination.
The students are able to sit the exam in their preferred community and don not necessarily have to travel to the school they attend. Further, the exam will be done in one sitting on one day as opposed to two days in the past. Finally, students are to wear masks with about 10 students per room, among other guidelines.
The G6NAT which is usually sat in May was pushed back as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic
