According to the Minister of Health, Honourable Irving McIntyre, 44 more cruise ship workers and students are coming home.
He said, ” A few weeks ago our quarantine facility was a busy one. It quieted down…now that we’re getting back the Dominican who work on the cruise line industry, so we got some and we’re gonna get another set this week, which will bring it to a total of about 60 something and obviously we’re gonna be getting back our students home and other Dominicans who got trapped outside and who want to come home. So our quarantine facility is functioning once again and its gonna be like that for quite some time”.
The cruise line arrived on island this morning at Portsmouth.
Emonews welcomes home all returning Dominicans.
