Dominica’s Chief Medical Officer(CMO)(Ag), Dr.Curvin Ferreira announced on Thursday evening that there was a new COVID-19 case in Dominica.

The CMO also said that five more persons have recovered from the COVID-19 disease after having tested negative twice and so were sent home.

He said that Dominica is already doing trials of a new antibody test in La plaine to determine how deeply COVID-19 has infiltrated our society and to stratify the population to determine who is resistant and who isn’t.

The CMO reminded Dominicans to keep following the instructions of the Ministry of Health in the fight against COVID-19.
