The north eastern community of Woodfordhill is alive this week as reunion activities continue. Diasporans were officially welcomed on Saturday and villagers were treated to praise and worship on Sunday evening.

Chairman of the reunion committee and village council chairman, Joseph Russel said that the decision was taken to include the Gospel concert as many persons of faith felt like there was nothing included for them in the last reunion.

He commended ms. Curnelle Thomas of the reunion committee who took charge of organizing the concert.

The concert featured praise and worship from churches in the community as well as Minor 7, a youth band from the SDA movement and veteran artist Jerry Lloyd.

Activities continue with football competitions, Oldie Goldie Night and Street Jam on Friday.
