Investigations are ongoing into a fatal traffic collision which claimed the life of nineteen year old, Jaron Pascal, of Stockfarm.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force(CDPF), Simon Edwards, the collision involved a Nissan XRay registration #PR585, driven by Bianca Toussaint of Mahaut which was travelling in a northerly direction on the Fond Cole Highway and Yamaha Scooter, registration #PV825, ridden by Pascal and travelling in a southerly direction.
Pascal was thrown from the scooter and sustained injuries to his head and other parts of his body.
He was transported to the Accident and Emergency Unit at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital where he was examined and pronounced dead by a medical examiner.
The accident took place on Saturday 27, June, 2020 in the vicinity of the Fond Cole Bus Stop.
