Zeb Kweyol, a storefront located at the Old Market in Roseau and operated by the Dominica Herbal Business Association, showcases and sells products created by local craftsmakers and manufacturers. Prior to adopting Odoo, the business had no working Point of Sale (POS) or Human Resource system and relied heavily on manual sales recording resulting in inefficiencies and errors.
“Before partnering with Open Solutions, our POS system was riddled with flaws. It was unreliable and lacked key functionalities, forcing us to revert to manually writing down every sales transaction; a tedious and error-prone process,” said Jodie Dangleben, President of the Dominica Herbal Business Association and lead on the Zeb Kweyol project.
Open Solutions implemented a comprehensive suite of tools including POS, sales and purchasing, accounting, inventory, and intuitive dashboards. Tailored training was provided to ensure a smooth transition.
“We now have real-time access to sales reports, inventory tracking, and customer insights all in one platform. It has significantly improved our workflow, accountability, and overall customer experience,” Jodie added.
Buzz Enterprises Ltd: Seamless Migration from QuickBooks to Odoo and additional array of modules with Multi-Branch Operations

Buzz Enterprises Ltd, a major provider of hardware and agricultural supplies with branches in Canefield, Wesley, and Roseau, has successfully transitioned from QuickBooks Desktop; a platform that lacked POS and HR capabilities, offered limited analytics, and did not support local taxation requirements. The company has now adopted Odoo, a more cost-effective and fully integrated solution which was further configured for local tax compliance. This digital transformation enables centralized data, streamlined operations, and improved decision-making across the organization.
With Open Solutions’ implementation of Odoo, Buzz Enterprises now benefits from a fully integrated solution covering:
