The National Bank of Dominica Ltd. (NBD) proudly announces its exceptional performance at the 2025 ECCU Bank of the Year Awards, held in St. Kitts. NBD earned top recognition in three major categories: Technological Innovation, Customer Service, and the distinguished ECCU Bank of the Year Award.
This remarkable achievement reflects NBD’s commitment to advancing the financial sector across the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) and delivering outstanding value to the people of Dominica.
The ECCU Distinguished Bank of the Year Award, launched in 2024, honours institutions that demonstrate strategic leadership and innovative business practices. This year, seven commercial banks submitted 34 entries, with more than 3,000 members of the public participating in online voting – its highest turnout to date.
NBD was also named a finalist in all six award categories, including Corporate Social Responsibility, Financial Education and Empowerment, and Support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). These nominations highlight the Bank’s broad impact and its dedication to supporting individuals, businesses, and communities across the region.
