The Dominica Labour Party officially launched Dr. Adis King as its candidate for the St. Joseph Constituency.

Dr. King has plans to transform St. Joseph into a commercial center by focusing on small businesses. She also intends to harness the potential of the youth through skill training and opportunities for higher learning. She plans to eliminate congestion in the constituency with the Hillsborough Garden renovation as residents are moved to their new homes.

Dr. King informed the residents of Carhome that the Prime Minister has informed her that the contract for the bypass in Carhome has been approved. She also plans to improve farm access roads to enable farmers to participate in the monies generated from her plans to ng improve tourism in the area.

One of the sections of her tourism plan is to have a Jeff Joseph and Grammacks tour in the area. Also to improve the Mero beach with Tiki huts and a boardwalk. Adis King, a medical doctor by profession will replace present representative Kelver Darroux. She will contend with UWP’s Monelle Williams Jno. Baptiste.
