The Team Culture Community Outreach initiative officially began at the Dominica Infirmary with special presentations recognizing the outstanding contributions of Mr. Gregnun Julien and Mrs. Annette Nicholas to Dominican culture and traditional craft.
Mr. Gregnun Julien was honoured for his lifetime dedication to craftsmanship, resilience, and creativity. Organizers described him as a quiet pillar of Dominican ingenuity whose work reflects the resourcefulness, pride, and enduring spirit of the Dominican people.
Mrs. Annette Nicholas was also recognized for her exceptional workmanship and unwavering commitment to preserving traditional craft. Through her skillful creations, including straw hats, bags, and flower pots, she has continued to showcase the beauty, culture, and identity of Dominica through generations.
Team Culture said the outreach initiative aims to celebrate and give back to members of the community while highlighting the importance of culture, tradition, and service across the island.
