The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Blue and Green Economy in collaboration with CIMA Research Foundation and Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has organized a four-day workshop for frontline officers in the assessment of existing early warning systems, early warning principles, risk assessment, communication strategies, anticipatory actions, and response planning.

It will also provide hands-on experience in using early warning systems and implementing anticipatory actions.

The focus of the training is to develop a thorough understanding of Early Warning Systems, specifically focusing on its applicability and potential benefits for agricultural sectors including crops, livestock, and fisheries.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn from experts in the field and engage in interactive sessions.

The training will be held at the Fisheries Complex Conference Room from 9:00am to 3pm on 21-24th 2024.
