The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) is conducting investigations into the death of Raymond Albert who fell from a Breadfruit Tree in Layou Park at 6 pm on Sunday 9 August, 2020.

According to information received, the body was found by a farmer who heard the sound of branches breaking from the tree and went to investigate.

The body was found partially submerged in the soil under the tree. It was transported to the Dominica China Friendship Hospital (DCFH) where it was medically examined and pronounced dead officially.

The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) is also conducting investigations into the discovery of a lifeless body of a male individual found at a Housing Development Site in Wesley on Saturday 8 August 2020 at 5:30 pm.

According to information received, the body was found lying in what appeared to be blood with wounds to the head.

The remains were transported to the Wesley Health Centre, medically examined by the Distict Doctor and officially pronounced dead. The body was transferred to the Lhynhurst Funeral Home pending a post mortem examination. The body has not yet been identified.
