The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force, assisted by troops from the Regional Security System, continue to maintain an intensified presence in Vieux-Fort following the enactment of the Police Powers Act. Law enforcement officials have since registered numerous crime fighting successes attributed to the Police Powers Act as efforts to capture and expel criminal suspects from the community continue.
